My Mom taught me at a very young age to never go to a party empty handed. On Friday night I decided to bring two gifts, both of which my fabulous aunts taught me about… The first, was a bottle of champagne (thanks, Anita Auntie) and the second was cupcakes (I get the baked good ideas from my Aunt Cindy) from my favorite baker Katie Cakes (she is in Glendora, CA and is seriously amazing!) I brought both of these because the hostess loves champagne and her husband loves cupcakes!
Hostess gifts don’t need to cost a lot of money, they just need to be personal. I have included a few of my favorite items that I always keep on hand in case I forget…
This is my FAVORITE fragrance for the holidays… Nordstrom is already sold out of the candle… they have a set that included the diffuser and the candle but for a housewarming I would just stick with one item.
Everyone loves cheese and if they don’t then they have to love bread and if they don’t love cheese or bread then I have also used this as a fruit plate and put some chocolate on it as well… so yummy!!
Coasters are always a great hostess gift because they can use them at the party! I always feel like I don’t have enough coasters…
GUYS! This is the good stuff… I just bought some the other day and its so so yummy! You can’t go wrong if you bring this!
I really think candles are the best hostess gifts! You don’t have to wrap them and everyone loves them! This is one of my favorite brands!
I know… I know… another candle, but it is so pretty that I couldn’t leave it out!
This is a totally different type of hostess gift, but something they can bring out for future parties! What I like to do is add some fresh flowers to it, during Christmas time I would choose some bright red flowers to make it festive!
