How many times are you at the mall and really love something, but then look at the price tag and have no idea what to do!? I have a rule- if I can see myself wearing that item for more than three years than I splurge! If its trendy, I save! I have included some of my top SPLURGE and SAVE items and why I chose them!

First up, SAVE:

I’m not going to lie, I have very few sweaters that I have had for years! One, is a navy cashmere J.Crew cardigan I got when I graduated 8th grade… yes, 8th grade! It was my first piece of cashmere and I love it. I still wear it a few times a year. But, usually my sweaters rotate out every other season because I like them to be trendy and cozy and usually wear them SO much that they don’t look as good after a few years! I love BP sweaters. This one is super soft and I can wear it with jeans AND leggings. It comes in five different colors and each of them I love.

Now, I do a few T-shirts that I splurge on. But, they are usually my Vince ones that I will wear with blazers/nicer events. But, for t-shirts that I’m just going to wear with jeans or leggings I love these Lush ones! I just ordered this light blush color and I’m super excited to get it in!

 

This is another example of a great sweater with trendy sleeves that could be dressed up or down but has a great price point.

 

I love these sweatshirts with cute sayings but I don’t like paying a lot of money for them! I love this one!

 

These super cute sweats are under $40 and they have the cutest details on the back ankle!

 

I love wearing these necklaces with t-shirts or plain tanks during the summer! This is a great layering piece the price makes it even better!

 

These are SO fun! But, there is no way I could spend 100’s of dollars on shoes with a pom pom on them… This is something to save on!

I really enjoy wearing hats, but I never spend a lot of money on them! I like to be able to throw them in my bag to travel or sometimes I leave them in my car in case I’m having a bad hair day! LOL I love this one and its under $60!

TO SPLURGE…

SPLURGE SPLURGE SPLURGE!!! I received my YSL clutch as a gift about SEVEN years ago and to this day its the only black evening bag I own! It goes with everything and surprisingly fits a lot inside! I really can’t begin to explain how much I use this bag! Out of all the bags I own, I have gotten the most money out of this one! ~This is the new version, sadly they don’t make mine anymore but this is literally identical besides the logo~

 Ok, I bought this bag in September because I wanted a black cross body that I could fit my wallet, sunglass case, lipgloss, etc.. When I first got it I wasn’t super impressed. But, after taking it to NYC I fell in love! I use it all the time now because its holds SO much stuff. I was in between the mini and the small and ended up purchasing the small and I’m so glad I did. They also have it in a blush color that is beautiful, I just really wanted black.

 

I actually have the older version of this bag (without the studs) but, its in the same color! This is a classic and I love it so much! Its a great bag for work or to take out at night with a blazer, jeans, and cute belt.

These were my first pair of CL shoes and they won’t ever disappoint. I will have these for so many years and I enjoy wearing them so I splurged on them!

My FAVORITE jeans in the world! These are worth the extra money. They are very complementing and they wash really well!

 

These are probably the best splurge item that I own. I wear these ALL the time. I also have them in a brushed gold and they are SO cute! The first time you wear them you should do it at your home. Once they stretch to your foot and break in they are the best heels!

 

It is actually very rare to see these available in all sizes. I have two pairs of these and I’m about to purchase another pair in grey or black! They are actually my favorite shoes to work out in as well. The stabilize my feet really well and they are cute! I literally can’t say enough good things about these!

This is such an easy bag. I love the leather and how it doesn’t scream “designer!” It will hold up for years!

I also own a Hermes Evelyne, a few Chanel bags, and a few Louis Vuitton ones as well. I will do another post on my handbags, I have been obsessed with bags since I was a little girl so I’m in love with my collection!

 

Ok, I think you get the idea that I love to splurge on handbags, shoes, and jeans and also workout clothes! But, I love good steals on trendy pumps and sweaters!
