MATERNITY BASICS
I don’t know about you, but now that I’m officially in the last trimester I’am over spending a ton of money on maternity clothes! I do have a few staple pieces like my AG and Frame black jeans that I spent more money on, but for the most part I got most of my maternity clothes when there would be a sale on top of the sale! I hope that in the next 2-3 years Phillip and I will be able to have another child, but God’s plans can sometimes differ from your own. That being said, will these clothes even be in style by the next time I’m pregnant!?
I’ve rounded up my affordable must haves that you can layer with your clothes that you currently have!
JEANS
- Both pairs of these jeans are under $75 and are made really well! I personally own the ripped pair and I love them! I was worried that a “cheaper” jean would bleed, but these haven’t at all! The rips have also stayed the same size and not gotten more ripped in the washer!
TOPS
- These tops are the best for layering! I own all of these in a bunch of colors! I can’t wait to wear mine over a cargo jacket or denim jacket once it gets colder out!
DRESSES
- The BEST dress ever is this one! I own this dress in 4 different colors and wear them almost every week! LOL I like to wear mine with a cardigan, kimono, or some kind of jacket! You can dress these up with heels or wedges or with sneakers and both ways look good! If I could get only one maternity piece, this bodycon dress is what I would choose!
PAJAMAS
- OMG! These are about the BEST purchase that I have ever made! I have actually worn the shorts out in public, and I don’t even care that they are considered “pajamas.” I just saw that they came out with a pant version and I WILL be purchasing them!
Those are my basics, the pieces I literally couldn’t function without! If you’ve been pregnant for awhile than you know what I’m talking about- everything gets harder to dress everyday! LOL
If you’re new to becoming pregnant, than good luck and hopefully this helps you narrow down your maternity wear choices!
