Guys! It’s almost November 1st… which means its basically the holidays! Yay!
Can you guys tell my excitement I have!? I’m excited because we have a much more relaxed holiday schedule than we usually do. It is so nice to be able to just bake cookies, watch Hallmark movies, and celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with your loved ones! Every year there are a few things I purchase. I thought I would pop in and share those so that YOU are able to get a head start and be prepared this holiday season! You can click on these images to take you directly to the store!
#1- My FAVORITE candle
I would purchase these in both scents… the Pumpkin Spice for Thanksgiving and the Holiday Classic scent for Christmas! We have a pretty large home and these candles will fill multiple rooms! I love them. I’m considering purchasing the large one for entertaining. I will include the link in case you are interested!
#2- Holiday Outfit
Since we own our own business and have so many family members it seems like we are going to a holiday party every other day. I like to keep an outfit on hand that I know is comfortable and will go with most occasions. I chose this dress this year because it won’t wrinkle, I can get a couple of wear before having to dry clean it, I can switch up the shoes and or jewelry to create w hole different look! There are so many cute Holiday dresses this season, I will do a whole separate post on those!
I love these shoes. They are going to be my Holiday shoe this year! They are pink AND velvet!
#3- HIS Holiday Outfit
Ok… you have your outfit but how about your boyfriend or husband!? I’m super lucky because my husband, Phillip has pretty good style. But, I still keep two Holiday outfits ready for him. I love a good flannel with sweater over it, jeans, and boots. It doesn’t get more winter than that!
These are his favorite jeans!
I like to pair collard shirts with crewneck sweater vs v-neck. V-neck looks good too, but Phillip just prefers crewneck!
#4- The one you DON’T have to buy!
Create your Christmas List.. and no not for yourself, but others! My husband and I always sit down and go over who we would like to purchase gifts for this year, ideas for them, and a budget. This allows for much more organization and communication. He doesn’t forget to get a gift and I don’t spend more money than I should! LOL
#5- A good mani
I used to get my nails done every two weeks. Life got busier and I stopped having enough time for it. I was using nail polish for the last couple of months until I stumbled on this! Deborah Lippmann Gel Pro set is amazing! It stays on my nails for a solid 9-10 days, which isn’t as long as gel nails from a salon but NO UV light and it comes out like normal nail polish! A bonus, it keeps my nails strong and healthy. I haven’t had any breakage since starting to use this. Its definitely an investment, but well worth it!
This is my favorite color… I actually haven’t used the other one I have purchased yet because this is way more versatile than it looks! It is perfect for the holiday season!
This is another great color that I purchased. I’m sure when I get back from Bora Bora I will start using this one!
On Friday, I will share with you my Bora Bora picks before we head out for our trip!
Until then, start Christmas shopping, its never too early!
