WEEK THREE: 80 DAY OBSESSION

This week was AWESOME!!! I’am starting to learn so much about my body and mind! I’m on Day 22 and this is the last week of Phase 1. This week became easier for me. I understand my food and what I can have, I’m able to say NO to foods that I know won’t fuel me!

Phillip ordered sushi this week (something I can’t have,) and I made Kodiak Pancakes, turkey sausage, and eggs and had breakfast for dinner and turned down the sushi! And let me tell you… I survived! LOL Actually, I felt great about it!

This week I was obsessed with Brussels Sprouts! I would roast them in the oven at 425 for 20 minutes (line the pan with foil) with one tablespoon of olive oil and 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt, 1 garlic minced, and 1 tsp pepper! After 20 minutes, I take them out of the oven, put back into the bowl I mixed them in and added one tablespoon of balsamic vinegar! OMG! These are SO good and easy!

NOW,

This was a great week! I didn’t have any “aha” moments, but I did stop craving as much junk food! I stayed very true to my nutrition this week. Timed nutrition is rough! Especially when you own your own business and sometimes business happens right in the middle of your workout and there is nothing worse than having to pause! Phillip was great in picking up a customer this week because I really get in a bad mood if I have to pause! LOL I have to say, without Phillip I would have failed Day 1. He is SO SO supportive of me, even eating my healthy food with me! He helps me make dinner every night and doesn’t eat Chick Fil A in front of me, I really love Chick Fil-A. It will probably be my first meal on April 16! haha

THE WORKOUTS

Week three workouts were definitely more tough than the first two weeks, but that is what I expected! I started noticing my body changed as well. My favorite days are still Wednesdays, I LOVE cardio core! The hardest day for me is AAA- Arms, Abs, Assests! haha Arms is something I’m really working on for these 80 days!

(how I really look after my workout, no make-up, hair all over the place- but HAPPY)

WEEK THREE RESULTS

I’m SUPER excited about this. This week I lost 2.5 pounds AND 13 inches!!! Yes- so overall, I have lost 5.5 pounds and 16 inches! 5.5 of those inches were all from my hips! I literally had to measure myself again because I thought there was no way I could have lost that many inches, but it was accurate.

I could of never imagined me loosing 16 inches even overall in this program! I’m feeling so good about myself and how my clothes have been fitting me! I still have 10 weeks left and I’m excited to see what the next 10 weeks hold.

MY VICTORIES

I had scoliosis as a child, I ended up having a spinal fusion. A spinal fusion is when a doctor puts two rods in your back to straighten out your spine. Eight years after that I got my rods removed because it was causing me extra pain that I didn’t need. So, sometimes I have back problems, usually when I get a flare up I take at least 3 days off from the gym and with that my nutrition lacks. I had excruciating pain this week on Monday and instead of throwing in the towel, I put my big girl panties on and finished my workout AND stayed on point with my nutrition. I did go lighter on my weights than I normally would, but thats ok! I was just proud of myself for finishing the workout and finishing the rest of the week!

FOOD TIP

BAKED SWEET POTATO FRIES! The one thing I have been craving is french fries. I didn’t expect to crave this because I never really crave french fries, I’m more a cake or ice cream person. I decided to bake some sweet potatoes and just cut them into more a “french fry” shape so that I can feel like I’m eating FRIES! I would make four sweet potatoes and divided them into three bags. I use garlic powder, chili powder, and thyme. After mixing those spices I toss it all with Olive oil! OMG- they are SO good!
